The one-day races of professional cycling in recent years have reconnected us with a style of action cycling, full of excitement and unpredictability that contrasts with the more leisurely and planned style of racing found in major stage races like the Giro d'Italia and the Tour de France. But not all cyclists are suited to this style of racing.

In issue 38 of the magazine, we delve back into the world of classics and Monuments like Paris-Roubaix, Milan-Sanremo, and Il Lombardia through the experiences of Imanol Erviti—the active rider who has ridden Roubaix and the Tour of Flanders the most times—Óscar Freire, and Movistar rider Liane Lippert, who is destined to take over from Annemiek van Vleuten.
