Cycling is a sport in which experience has traditionally been a highly valued element, given the importance of holding a prominent place within the unwritten hierarchies of a professional peloton. However, recently, we've seen a new generation of very young cyclists enter the professional ranks with audacity, with their minds set on their game, and the ability to achieve victories.
In issue 35 of VOLATA magazine, we explore this new wisdom and attempt to profile the cyclists who have a bright future ahead of them, even though they are already the present of this sport. We interview Juanpe López (Trek Segafredo), Sandra Alonso (Ceratizit-WNT), Carlos Rodríguez (Ineos Grenadiers), Vinícius Rangel (Movistar Team), Sepp Kuss (Jumbo Visma), and Lorena Wiebes (Team DSM). We talk about the youngest cyclists debuting in the Women's Tour de France and look back at Henri Cornet, the youngest Tour de France winner, and delve into the youth of Fausto Coppi.
We also join Mitch Docker on his first bikepacking adventure, follow Fabio Aru on a route through the Dolomites, and visit the Tactic facilities to learn more about the ALS charity jersey sponsored by Juan Carlos Unzué, whom we interviewed in depth. You'll also find the usual sections and columns by Laura Meseguer, Luis Ángel Maté, and Ander Izagirre. And much more!
