Volata No.44 Magazine, Cycling · Culture · Journalism. Wabi Reference: 9772385365
In this new issue of the magazine, with which we close out 2024, we've been inspired by a quote we discovered long ago by the writer Marcel Proust: "True journey is not to go to new landscapes, but to have new eyes."
You'll find content such as an interview with mountain bike and downhill legend Tomi Misser; a report on the unexpected adventure in the Badlands by Javier Pastor and Juanjo Pereira, from the Aurum team; American Steph Dietzel's experience at the last edition of Kromvojoj, in which she combined her passion for cycling with sketching; Iñigo Labat's bikepacking journey through Navarre, from south to north; and Ricard Calmet and Alba Xandri, who explore Pyrenean passes on a high-altitude route linking Bielsa, Panticosa, and Izaba.
We go even further with Carla Hurtado, who covered the latest edition of the Tour du Qinghai Lake in China. We also discover the hundreds of kilometers of gravel trails in Finland led by Antonio Ortiz, and follow adventurer Virginia Cancelieri through the Icelandic Highlands.
We also visit Gobik's new facilities in Yecla (Murcia) and learn about the bicycle motor company Mahle, based in Palencia. We also check out the "Terra" exhibition at the BiciLab museum in Andorra, among other content. Of course, we'll also include columns by Laura Meseguer, Juan Antonio Flecha, Ander Izagirre, and Luis Ángel Maté. And much more!
