We want our 25th issue to be a turning point, contributing to greater visibility for women's sports and contributing our part to its definitive emergence. At VOLATA, we needed to publish this edition to show that, yes, we can talk about women and cycling.

To this end, we've put together a central dossier featuring an in-depth interview with Mavi García (Alé BTC Ljubljiana), an intense four-way conversation between Orla Chennaoui (Eurosport), Fran Millar (former CEO of Sky and Ineos), Lizzie Deignan (Trek-Segafredo), and Monica Santini (CEO of Santini), reports on female cyclists in Pakistan, female lip surgery, and a retrospective on the ban on women riding in the Tour de France caravan, as well as articles by Marianne Vos and journalist and writer Laura Meseguer, whom we've added as a columnist. Plus: María Pajón, Lael Wilcox, Clàudia Galícia, Colette, Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio, La Fuga: la Traka 360... and the magnificent cover by illustrator Adara Sánchez, inspired by Mavi García's breakaway at the 2020 Strade Bianche.
