The Shimano Deore XT SL-M8130 shifter achieves smooth and reliable shifting performance thanks to LinkGlide technology. Its quick response ensures smooth shifting behavior and optimal control during aggressive trail riding. Adjustable ergonomics also benefit controllability.

Proven features like Rapidfire Plus, 2-Way and Instant Release are of course on board the M8130 shifter. The right gear lever allows two gear jumps with the main or secondary lever in both directions. The Deore XT shift lever is suitable for 11-speed drivetrain systems and is adapted to e-bike components from the Shimano STePS EP800 series.

Instant Release allows faster gear changes. The cable is released immediately when the lever is operated. You can change faster than before.

2-Way-Release allows release of the pull by pressing with the thumb or pulling with the index finger. So you don't have to adapt your driving style to the rear derailleur, but the rear derailleur adapts to your driving style.

LinkGlide
LinkGlide allows for smoother pedaling and barely noticeable gear changing. The drivetrain is exceptionally durable, withstanding daily wear and tear and providing good shifting and long-lasting pedaling performance, especially for high-torque multi-purpose bikes and e-bikes.

The optimized design of the LinkGlide shifting aids provides a smoother transition between cogs to eliminate jumpiness that can affect shifting and a rounded pedal. The redesigned LinkGlide sprockets themselves feature a much stronger base and a unique chamfer that greatly improves wear resistance in high torque applications.
