Using the latest technologies of the Hard Road Components ACE R9100 and ULTEGRA R8000, the Shimano 105 R7000 Group offers additional versatility and improved performance for a wide range of pilots. The shift levers are ergonomically sophisticated and follow the elegant design of their ultegra counterparts, while the rear change of average length and the 11-34 cassette expand the range of proportions. The culminating point of the new 105 is the addition of hydraulic disc brakes to the standard range, which have the usual good characteristics of the specific Shimano components of the discs. Flat brake tweezers are compatible with ICE Technologies brake pads and brake discs from 140 mm in diameter to offer the most powerful Shimano Group 105 in history.

The DualShiman control lever 105 ST-R7020Cuenta with an internal unit of redesigned internal change, which results in a thinner and ergonomic control lever that fits the design of its Ultegra R8000 counterpart. A higher reach of up to 15 mm provides greater control and more reliable braking performance in all conditions. Compared to double control levers ST-R7025, the range is 4 mm further, which makes these levers more suitable for riders with slightly larger hands.
