TAILORED ZONAL DAMPING

The evolution of 3D digital printing has allowed us to develop a new saddle without the limitations imposed by traditional production methods and materials. The Adaptive padding is manufactured by Carbon® with its revolutionary Digital Light Synthesis™ technology. DLS is an additive manufacturing process that uses digital ultraviolet light projection, oxygen-permeable optics, and programmable liquid resins to produce parts with excellent mechanical properties, resolution, and surface finish.

LAB TESTED, ROAD TESTED

Thanks to Carbon® technology, biomechanists and engineers have an unprecedented opportunity: to design and manufacture multiple functional zones within the saddle, tuning each separately for specific mechanical properties. Each of these key functional zones is designed for distinctive damping and mechanical response, seamlessly and progressively integrated into the same padding. The result? A 60% reduction in peak pressure thanks to improved weight distribution for greater comfort across the entire saddle surface.
