Stan’s NoTubes DART tubeless repair kit is an innovation when repairing cuts and punctures of 5mm or greater in tubeless tires, quick, easy and safe. Generally, the Stans sealant can already be used with the majority of punctures, but the DART makes cutting or puncturing more difficult to repair quickly, easily and safely.
Unlike conventional tools that work by pressing pieces of rubber or similar material on the puncture, the DART also reacts with the Stan’s cover sealant by filling in the puncture and sealing it to the cover.
The DART has "dual action" is the use of both types of sealing, the chemical and the mechanic. The sharp end of special material is mechanically anchored in the cover and fills the puncture while a safe compound reacts chemically with the Stan's sealant, creating the fastest, easiest and safest solution to repair, seal punctures and large cuts on decks. Easy and Fast Use:
The tip of the DART is placed inside the puncture and pressed until the head of the DART tool contacts the cover. The length of the rod is specifically calibrated so that the DARTs are inserted to the precise depth and so that they are anchored in its place in a safe way which means that neither in rapid repairs you will damage the tire or tire tape. Another key point in the design of the DART was the speed in the use of the tool. The head has 2 sealed DARTS, allowing both to be used one after the other quickly to seal very large cuts or pinches that create multiple holes. The ergonomic design of the DART tool includes a lightweight and very strong molded plastic grip area that makes it precise and easy to use, a considerable advantage when hard-to-reach punctures such as those near the tackling must be repaired. This same grip area incorporates a valve extractor that will facilitate the pouring of sealant whenever necessary.
