New Specialized Ambush Ebike Comp helmet with expanded coverage that is lighter and more ventilated. In addition, the new ANGI crash sensor offers more peace of mind to your loved ones since, together with the Android and iOS app, the sensor will detect any fall and send a text message to the contacts you want on your phone. The helmet also syncs with the Specialized and Strava app to provide GPS-based tracking.

We have partnered with MIPS researchers to introduce MIPS SL, a new ultralight and extremely comfortable version of MIPS that is available exclusively on Specialized helmets. With MIPS SL, we have essentially integrated MIPS technology into the helmet padding itself. MIPS SL's minimalist "watch band" clamping system provides 10-15 millimeters of rotation in all directions and offers the same brain protection benefits as other MIPS versions, while offering a new level of comfort and lightness.

If you look at protection, the Ambush offers significantly expanded coverage, Energy Optimized Multi-Density EPS foam to manage impact energy effectively and Aramid-Reinforced Skeleton structure to offer an additional shell to the foam. However, even with the added protection, it fits perfectly into our fully integrated, low profile Mindset 360 fitting system. With its five height positions, this system provides an unmatched fit, while the integrated dial allows for on-the-fly adaptation. The Ambush also keeps you cool thanks to our massive 4th Dimension Cooling System vents and vents, so you don't have to worry about overheating, even on the hottest days.

Finally, we have included a micro-indexing visor with quickly adjustable positions and large space for adapting glasses. The combination of all these features puts the Ambush well ahead of the competition.
