The SLX brake lever follows the design of the XTR model and is therefore not mounted parallel to the handlebar but at an angle, so that it rests on a second point on the handlebar in addition to the clamp, making it significantly stiffer than the other. before. For individual adjustment, the lever is equipped with a tool-free grip width adjustment device. Thanks to the design of the I-Spec EV, the controls of the SLX SL-M7100-I can be mounted directly on the brake lever.

The Shimano SLX BR-M7120 Postmount Brake Caliper, with its 4-piston construction, is ideal for enduro and downhill riding. By accelerating the reset of the pistons, the modulation behavior has been further improved compared to its predecessor, resulting in better brake control. The N03A resin brake pads with Ice-Tech cooling fins in combination with the powerful 4-piston caliper guarantee extremely good deceleration.
