After the flagship XTR mountain bike has already set standards and the Deore XT and SLX have followed suit, the Deore M6100 now rounds out Shimano's 12-speed lineup. It is complemented by components from the M5100 and M4100 series, which will equip the 11 and 10 speed motors to the same level.

Shimano Deore RD-M5130-GS Shadow RD+ Rear Derailleur

The Deore RD-M5130-GS rear derailleur owes its smooth and reliable shifting performance to innovative LinkGlide technology, while the Shadow RD+ design allows for secure and stable chain guidance. Shimano's chain stabilizing technology prevents the chain from jumping on rough trails and damage from stone impacts is prevented by the smooth and quiet running flat profile of the rear derailleur. 13-tooth idler and tension jockey wheels provide more stability.

The MTB-optimized rear derailleur is suitable for 1x10-speed drivetrain systems and is matched to Shimano STePS EP800 series e-bike components.
LinkGlide

LinkGlide allows for smoother pedaling and barely perceptible gear shifting. The drivetrain is exceptionally durable, withstanding daily wear and tear and providing long-lasting good shifting and pedaling performance, especially for multi-purpose bikes and high-torque e-bikes.

The optimized design of the LinkGlide shift aids provides a smoother transition between the sprockets to eliminate jumps that can affect shifting and a rounded pedal. The redesigned LinkGlide sprockets themselves feature a much stronger base and a unique chamfer that greatly improves wear resistance in high torque applications.
Shadow DR+

Quiet drive, less distraction. The Shadow RD+ system is lighter and more efficient than roller chain devices. A rear derailleur stabilizer not only reduces chain slack, but also offers a simple solution to prevent chain jump.
