Stan's 33mm rim tape is recommended for rims with an internal width of 31-33mm.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Stan's yellow tape is designed to work with Tubeless-ready rims and wheels. If you're inflating your tires to 45 psi or less, one layer of yellow rim tape is all you need for most rims. For tubeless road tires and similar rims that require more than 45 psi of pressure, a double wrap of tape is required. WHAT IF I HAVE AN OLDER RIM? The BST (Bead Socket Technology) profile developed by Stan's NoTubes was a departure from traditional bicycle rim design, and its core concept is the basis of the vast majority of tubeless-ready rims and wheels on the market today. Stan's yellow rim tape is not, in itself, a tubeless conversion for older, traditional rims that are not tubeless-ready. These older rims require the use of a Stan's NoTubes rim strip (now discontinued) to reshape the rim bed and achieve a safe and secure tubeless setup. While we recommend considering a new tubeless-ready wheelset rather than a rim tape conversion, Stan's rim sets and strips may still be available at your local bike shop and can be used to convert older bikes with older rims that are not tubeless-ready. Using only Stan's yellow rim tape and NoTubes sealant on a rim that is not tubeless-ready can result not only in difficult inflation during setup but also in catastrophic "burping" issues while riding.
