After the flagship XTR mountain bike has already set standards and the Deore XT and SLX have followed suit, the Deore M6100 now rounds out Shimano's 12-speed lineup. It is complemented by components from the M5100 and M4100 series, which will equip the 11 and 10 speed motors to the same level.

Shimano Deore's current groupsets are in the entry price range and are not prepared to compromise on performance, quality and reliability. Almost everything that distinguishes the big brothers in terms of technology, innovation, performance and functionality can also be found in Deore components.

The Shimano Deore SL-M5130 shift lever achieves smooth and reliable shifting performance thanks to LinkGlide technology. Its quick response ensures smooth shifting behavior and optimal control on the trail. Adjustable ergonomics also benefit controllability.

Proven features like Rapidfire Plus and 2-Way-Release are of course on board the M5130 shifter. The right gear lever allows for two jump gears with either the primary or secondary lever in both directions.

The Deore shift lever is suitable for 10-speed transmission systems and is adapted to e-bike components from the Shimano STePS EP800 series.

2-Way-Release allows pull release by thumb pressure or index finger pull. So you don't have to adapt your driving style to the rear derailleur, rather the rear derailleur adapts to your driving style.

LinkGlide
LinkGlide allows for smoother pedaling and barely perceptible gear shifting. The drivetrain is exceptionally durable, withstanding daily wear and tear and providing long-lasting good shifting and pedaling performance, especially for multi-purpose bikes and high-torque e-bikes.

The optimized design of the LinkGlide shift aids provides a smoother transition between the sprockets to eliminate jumps that can affect shifting and a rounded pedal. The redesigned LinkGlide sprockets themselves feature a much stronger base and a unique chamfer that greatly improves wear resistance in high torque applications.
