A versatile gravel-specific short nose saddle with a combination of a carbon-reinforced nylon shell and hollow Kium rails.

GREATER STABILITY

While the traditional saddle shape encourages riders to change their position frequently for better leverage, the Argo places riders in a more planted position, resulting in greater stability and better weight distribution. The short length of the Terra Argo allows passengers to sit further forward without putting undue pressure on sensitive areas. It also features an ergonomic cut that was developed using detailed pressure analysis and input from medical experts.

SPECIFIC GRAVEL SADDLE

The Argo is our most versatile saddle shape, with each version suited to different riding styles. As a gravel-specific option, the Terra Argo has been designed with a compatible shell to offer a degree of flexibility. This controlled elasticity absorbs road noise and vibrations, providing the comfort needed for long-distance rides on unpaved roads.

STABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY

To better support the Terra Argo's flexible shell, we used our closed-loop Mobius rail system to increase structural stability and responsiveness. The Terra Argo features a waved profile to provide the lumbar support needed for long rides and to help riders maintain their position while climbing loose terrain. The same goes for the dropped nose design that allows riders to rotate their pelvis while pushing the nose forward for better traction and power transfer.

LONG DISTANCE COMFORT

The padding is made from fizik's proprietary Type 2 foam formulation, slightly thicker around the sit bone area to support a more upright riding posture. The cushioning is slightly softer and more progressive than what we use in our racing saddles, providing more comfort over long distances.
