SmartGRIP Compound: Decades of victories in motocross and rally competitions around the world led our engineers to develop an innovative new rubber formulation: the SmartGRIP compound for Scorpion™ MTB, which combines opposite characteristics:

- Tear resistance for maximum mechanical grip on dry and wet surfaces along with maximum resistance against punctures;

- Chemical grip on wet terrain for unconditional driving in any type of weather;

SmartGRIP compound is the result of an extensive research and development process that led to absolute performance in both dry and wet conditions. We chose a unique compound formulation to achieve the most consistent performance throughout the life of the tire, even when the lugs begin to wear.

HyperWALL: HyperWALL is a new e-MTB specific casing that improves handling and puncture protection at low inflation pressure, which are key features of a dedicated gravity and e-MTB all-terrain tire. This new construction is derived directly from Pirelli's Motocross experience: it features a thick rubber insert firmly connected to the bead with a fabric layer that increases bead stability (+10%) and protects the tire from punctures. by 50%.
