• THE TRAIL REFERENCE: When we set out to design the new Stumpjumper, we had some important goals. It had to excel on any type of trail and for every style of rider. To achieve this, we sought significant weight reduction without sacrificing durability, and a stiff, responsive frame that was light and lively, geometry that improves handling for everyone, and the best suspension kinematics we know how to design. The icing on the cake is the new Stumpjumper.
• THE SMOOTHEST 130MM OF TRAVEL YOU'VE EVER PEDLED ON: We've fine-tuned the kinematics of the Stumpjumper suspension to get the best performance in every way with 130mm. Countless hours of development in the suspension lab and field testing created the most refined medium ride we could, creating a bike that fuels gravity on difficult terrain, with a dream ride in any situation and also climbs as if it had a motor.
• PROGRESSIVE GEOMETRY: The S-Sizing geometry of the new Stumpjumper hits the sweet spot in progressiveness. It's long, low in slack, with a short fork offset and a steeper seat tube angle. These numbers combine to make driving more stable, more fun, and more comfortable to climb, in short, better everywhere. With the FlipChip's adjustability, you can further fine-tune it to your tastes and riding style, ensuring your Stumpjumper performs at its best on any type of terrain.
• RIDER-FIRST ENGINEERED® Rider-First Engineered® frames are designed around the size for perfect performance. Whether you are a kid with a desire to jump who rides an S1, or if you are a DH giant who needs a longer S6, you will experience the same behavior, cornering, balance between the front and rear axle, with the lowest weight possible. And by lightness, we mean the real thing: 2,250 grams (S-Works, size S-3, with rear shock absorber).
• SWAT™ - When we introduced the SWAT™ compartment on the Stumpjumper in 2016, we increased pocket space and added room for those damn bombs and spare parts that are so bothersome on your back. With the new Stumpjumper, we've kept the same design features you know and love.
