The new Tech 4 V4 is based on our more than 25 years of experience in the design and manufacture of hydraulic brakes.

The Tech 4 uses a completely new internal seal to reduce friction and the lever rotates on bearings, minimizing spring work, this results in a lighter lever action that reduces rider fatigue and maintains our modulation and feel. legendary.

The updated V4 caliper uses hybrid-style stainless steel pistons with a phenolic insert that allows for smoother movement and less maintenance, while also being able to handle high temperatures without heat transfer during extreme use.

To consider:

The V4 caliper is not compatible with all 180mm Direct Mount forks due to the large piston design and variation in mounting positions. We recommend using the V4 caliper with the correct adapter and a 200mm disc in this application.

The V4 caliper is not compatible with the 2021 Commencal Supreme DH 200mm Direct Postmount frame.
