The placement of the studs on the tread is based on the shape of a porcupine: pointed shapes for more grip. This is still the same original idea as in the 90's! Excellent rolling properties, central lugs reduce rolling resistance.

The continuous channel between central and lateral knobs offers maximum grip when cornering.
Grooved studs for optimal adaptation on difficult terrain, and also perfect grip when braking/accelerating.
In-line side knobs provide continuous cornering control
