eTap® batteries can literally be removed with a single click.
Open the tool-free clasp, slide the front or rear derailleur battery up and plug them into the USB charger. You can plug the charger into any USB-enabled power source, or connect it to mains power with a USB A/C adapter.
Charging time is only 45 minutes.
