Shimano Ultegra Di2 RD-R8150 Rear Derailleur

The Di2 actuators on the front and rear derailleurs of the current Ultegra series allow a significantly higher movement speed for a shorter movement time when changing gears and corresponding quick shifting processes.

The Shimano Ultegra Di2 RD-R8150 rear derailleur speeds up the shifting process by 58% compared to the previous generation Dura Ace RD-R9150 model. The front derailleur, with a uniform cage length and an increased gear ratio of 34 teeth, is not only faster than ever, but also ensures highly precise operation in all conditions.

The integrated transmitter ensures wireless communication with the STI shift/brake levers and thus ensures quick and precise podium-worthy gear changing. Through the use of Bluetooth and ANT+, it is also responsible for data transmission to the Shimano E-Tube Project and E-Tube Ride apps as well as third-party devices.

In addition to the charging connector, the rear derailleur has a button for certain Di2 settings and an LED status indicator, which provides information on, for example, battery level, pairing and adjustment mode.
