To achieve that speed it is necessary to create an uncompromising combination of aerodynamics, lightness, rigidity and compliance. Through racing simulations with real data, our Ride Science team knows that the Tarmac SL8 is the fastest racing bike ever made on the routes that matter: 16.6 seconds faster over 40 km, 128 seconds faster in Milan San Rowing and 20 seconds faster on the legendary Tourmalet climb.

Now, the world's fastest racing bike is joined by the power-metered SRAM RED AXS groupset, the lightest electronic groupset ever made, and a tubeless-ready Roval Rapide CLX II wheelset. All S-Works Tarmac SL8 models are delivered with a Roval Rapide cockpit to save weight and to achieve the fastest possible cockpit.

• AERO IN EVERYTHING: We're investing in aerodynamics where it's needed most, at the leading edge, not just where it looks good. In the process we have created our most aerodynamic road bike. Yes, it is more aerodynamic than the Venge. Clean air is optimized for maximum advantage with the Tarmac's new front cone: the Speed ​​Sniffer. By moving the head tube rearward - the tube that determines the width of the head tube - the leading edge of the head tube can be much sharper, offering a much lower form of aerodynamic drag. Taking advantage of new UCI regulations, the Tarmac SL8 has the narrowest, most aerodynamic seatpost we've ever made, ensuring that polluted air circulating rapidly around your legs can flow back more cleanly. • MINIMUM WEIGHT, MAXIMUM AERODYNAMICS: The Tarmac SL8 drew on the experience of the Aethos to be easily manufactured with minimum UCI and a full aerodynamic configuration. The team has created a mind-blowing 685 gram frame, 15% lighter than the Tarmac SL7 and any other World Tour bike*. With the ability to make lightness a top priority in the down tube, seat tube and rear of the bike, the lessons from Aethos were applied. The frame shape carries the load so efficiently that the additional layers of carbon stiffness are redundant. *Unless, of course, you count the time Kasper Asgreen raced our 585-gram Aethos frame during a Tour stage.
