SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM

The SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM is a wide, anatomically curved strap combined with a soft, thermoformed EVA pad that distributes pressure evenly over the instep area. The SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM is adjustable on both sides, to perfectly center the EVA pad over a high or low instep. The system eliminates the need for the high instep extender. The SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM is replaceable.

TECHNO-3 SYSTEM

The TECNO-3 SYSTEM marks the fit along the entire length of the shoe, adapting the upper part to the shape of the foot for a personalized fit. SIDI's reliable, replaceable closures are enhanced with an all-new, proprietary SIDI Wire material that won't jam for effortless, intuitive adjustments on the fly.

INTEGRATED HEEL CUP

The HEEL CUP is integrated, with a new design and light weight, reinforced to avoid deformation after efforts and prolonged pressure.

Anatomically shaped, it stabilizes the foot while pedaling. The reflex inserts on the heel provide greater security to the athlete on the road, helping to signal the presence of the cyclist in low visibility conditions.

SR17 MTB SOLE

Lighter and more performing, the new Sidi MTB sole is made of nylon with PU (polyurethane) inserts. The shape of the tread of the sole has been specifically designed for mountain biking, it allows a good grip, facilitates the dispersion of mud and provides adequate stability. The central insert with the Sidi logo works as a non-slip and is practical and useful especially for less experienced users. The area of the toe box that is most subject to wear, especially when walking, can be replaced by screws and still offers the possibility of mounting crampons to improve traction on particularly muddy terrain. SR17 represents the bottom line in terms of pedaling stiffness and walking flex.
