• The Aethos frame has been designed with the perfect combination of ride feel, lightness and style: from accelerating on steep slopes and technical descents, to all-day comfort in the saddle on even the longest rides, the Aethos delivers. spot on. But how? Reinventing the traditional shape of road bikes of the past, we've subtly altered these shapes to deliver huge gains in stiffness and balance, all without compromising weight or durability. Add to this a completely new lamination process that we have perfected for decades, and we have the lightest frame on the market (585 grams, S-Works, size 56cm). The Aethos is more than a new bike, it's the first of a new class.
• A lightweight frame means nothing without confidence-inspiring riding characteristics, which is why we developed the Aethos to have the perfect balance of front and rear stiffness combined with exceptional ride quality. By studying the flex and behavior of carbon fiber, we have been able to discover how forces flow through frames.
