Retül Bike Fit in Andorra: ride without discomfort from day one
Biomechanics applied to cycling has become an essential tool for any cyclist who wants to enjoy an efficient, comfortable and safe position on the bike. Whether you are looking for better performance or simply want to avoid pain and injuries, a proper bike fit is the starting point to get the most out of every ride.
At Jorma Bike, we have relaunched our Retül Bike Fit service, based on state-of-the-art technology, and we want to take this opportunity to explain what it is, how it works and why it is so important.

Basic Principles of Bike Biomechanics
A bike fit is much more than adjusting a bicycle: it is a comprehensive process that analyzes the cyclist’s body and its relationship with the bike. The goal is to find an efficient, healthy and sustainable position over time.
The key elements of a complete bike fit include:
- Physical assessment: Evaluation of the rider’s body, previous injuries and cycling goals to tailor the fit to each individual.
- Personalized adjustment: Every cyclist is unique, so all adjustments are based on individual morphology and needs.
- Saddle and cleat analysis: Sit bone measurement, saddle testing and cleat positioning to help prevent injuries.
- Digital report: All data is recorded for future adjustments or bike changes.
- 3D motion capture: LED sensors and cameras analyze pedaling and posture in real time.
Why get a bike fit?
A professional bike fit offers multiple benefits:
- Custom footbeds
- Injury prevention
- Perfect bike adjustment
- Precise measurements
- Improved comfort
- Optimal riding position

RETÜL Bike Fit
Retül Fit goes far beyond traditional bike fitting.
It is an advanced process based on four pillars:
- Infrared LED sensors placed on 8 key points of the body
- Three 3D cameras capturing real movement while pedaling
- Retül Vantage & V7 software for in-depth data analysis
- A Retül-certified professional who interprets and fine-tunes every detail
Unlike other systems, Retül captures real, dynamic movement in real time—not just static images or fixed positions.
STEP 1 – Physical assessment
The technician evaluates mobility, medical history, discomfort and cycling goals.
STEP 2 – LED sensor placement
Eight markers are placed to capture 3D movement while the cyclist pedals.
STEP 3 – Real-time adjustments
The software shows how the body moves, allowing the technician to adjust the bike until the optimal position is achieved.
STEP 4 – Digital report and final measurements
Using the Retül Zin tool, the exact bike configuration is recorded and a full report is generated.

Bike size recommendation
If you are planning to buy a new bike but are unsure about frame size, handlebar width, stem length or saddle choice, our bike size recommendation service provides precise answers. We use the Müve SL dynamic fit bike, the adjustable Angül stem and a digital sit bone measurement system to determine the ideal setup before purchase—ensuring the bike perfectly matches your body.
STEP 1 – Replicating the desired bike
The Müve SL machine is used to replicate the geometry and size of the model the client wishes to purchase.
STEP 2 – Saddle selection
The most suitable Specialized saddle model and width is selected based on the rider’s anatomy.
STEP 3 – Test ride on the Müve SL
The client rides the Müve SL to test the chosen geometry and saddle.

Custom Footbeds
Take comfort and performance to the next level. Custom footbeds are ergonomically designed and scientifically proven to increase power, endurance and comfort through precise alignment of the hip, knee and foot. They are a fast and effective way to unlock your full cycling potential.
STEP 1 – Foot assessment
Limitations, arch collapse and pressure points are identified.
STEP 2 – Molding tray setup
The cyclist stands on the Retül Footbed system.
STEP 3 – Heating and shaping
The footbed is heated until flexible and molded to the exact shape of the foot.
STEP 4 – Trimming and final adjustment
The footbed is adapted to the cyclist’s shoe.
STEP 5 – Ready to ride
The cyclist leaves with footbeds ready for their next training session.

Saddle size and type analysis
Are you riding the right saddle width? The digital sit bone measurement device (DSD) is designed to make long days on the bike more comfortable. It removes the guesswork when choosing the right saddle by using advanced pressure mapping technology to determine the optimal width.
STEP 1 – Initial interview
Goals, discomfort and pedaling style are discussed.
STEP 2 – Sit bone measurement
The digital measuring device determines the ideal saddle width.
STEP 3 – Saddle testing on the Müve SL
Different saddle models are tested using the replicated bike geometry.
